Jobs

A Job is the work or appointment your team plans to complete for a customer. Jobs turn a qualified lead or booking into an operational record with a title, status, priority, schedule, service address, notes, and links back to the customer.

Getting here

In Auto-Respond, open CRMJobs.

How Jobs are created

The Created via field shows whether a Job was entered manually or created from a lead conversion.

The Jobs list

Each row shows:

The business switcher also controls the list. Choose a specific business to focus on its Jobs or All businesses to see every Job you can access.

Job details

Main fields

When available, the Job shows links to its Contact and Original lead. Use them to move from the operational record back to the customer profile or the conversation that produced the booking.

Job statuses

⚠️

Changing a Job to Unscheduled, Completed, or Canceled clears its scheduled start and end time, so it no longer appears as a reserved appointment on the Calendar. If you only need to postpone active work while keeping its slot, use On hold.

Jobs cannot currently be deleted from the app. Use Canceled when you need to close a Job that will not happen.

Scheduling a Job

You can schedule with or without a built-in Calendar.

With a built-in Calendar

  1. Set the Job’s status to Scheduled.
  2. Choose a Calendar.
  3. Pick a start date.
  4. Choose one of the Calendar’s available slots.

The Calendar supplies the start and end time based on its timezone, weekly hours, and appointment length. Slots already reserved by scheduled, in-progress, or on-hold Jobs are not offered.

Without a Calendar

Leave Calendar empty and enter the start date/time and end date/time manually. The end cannot be earlier than the start.

A manually timed Job appears in All calendars, but it is not tied to one Calendar’s availability rules or color.
