AccuLynx Integration
The AccuLynx integration turns a new Auto-Respond lead into an AccuLynx contact and job. It is designed for roofing teams that want every inquiry, customer detail, and conversation reference available in AccuLynx without manual data entry.
What gets created
For each eligible lead, Auto-Respond creates:
- An AccuLynx contact with first and last name
- Phone number and email address, when available
- Mailing and billing address, when address details are available
- A related AccuLynx job
- Notes containing lead details, the first inquiry, the conversation link, and team memos
- A cross-reference back to the Auto-Respond lead
If a phone number is captured after the contact and job already exist, Auto-Respond can add that phone number to the existing AccuLynx contact. Phone numbers that cannot be normalized to 10 digits are preserved in the notes instead of being discarded.
Connect AccuLynx
Get an AccuLynx API key
Ask your AccuLynx account administrator for an API key that can create contacts and jobs.
Open the integration
In Auto-Respond, open a source and go to Messaging Settings > Integrations > CRM > AccuLynx.
Save the API key
Paste the key into API key and click Save. Auto-Respond validates the key before storing the connection.
Choose the lead filters
Turn on Create lead in CRM only when contact info is received if AccuLynx should only receive leads with a phone number or email. Turn on Create only new leads if existing leads should be skipped.
Enable the integration
Turn Enabled on. The connection can be saved while disabled, so this final step is required before leads begin syncing.
Duplicate protection
After creating the AccuLynx contact and job, Auto-Respond stores both AccuLynx IDs on the lead. Later integration events reuse the saved contact and do not create a second job for the same Auto-Respond lead.
Validate or disconnect
Expand the saved AccuLynx connection and click Validate API key to test it again. To disconnect, click the delete button and confirm. Disconnecting removes the API key and disables the integration for that source.
Troubleshooting
- API key fails validation: copy the key again and confirm it belongs to an AccuLynx account with contact and job access.
- Connected but no job is created: confirm Enabled is on and check whether the contact-info or new-lead filters are excluding the lead.
- Phone number appears only in notes: AccuLynx receives a structured phone only when it can be normalized to 10 digits.
- Address is incomplete: only the address fields captured on the lead can be sent.
- A duplicate job was skipped: the integration creates one AccuLynx job per Auto-Respond lead by design.
The latest integration error is shown on the integration card. Use it together with Validate API key when diagnosing a failed connection.
